For overnight stays: take the standard ferry from Rassada at 08:30 — cheapest, smoothest, easiest with luggage. For day trips: speedboat gets you on the beach by 09:30 and back before sunset. Skip the private charter unless you're 6+ and want flexibility on Maya Bay timing.

Why pick it

• Half the journey time — useful for short Phi Phi stays
